The difference between the godly and the ungodly — The Whole Armour Of God

The difference between the godly and the ungodly(James Meikle, “The Traveler” June 14, 1758)There is a wide difference in both principle and practice, between the the godly and the ungodly. The affections of the godly are spiritually refined–and their desires are exalted. The inclinations of the ungodly are corrupt–and their desires are groveling. Sin has but a tottering standing, and a momentary […]

Pointers to the great love parade.

Views and ideas can be shared; knowledge can be imparted. What you know can bring an astounding effect on the recipient if shared. Obviously, we are talking of the subtle good things we have learned over years.

Watching the sun rising to someone it’s just the effect of the earth rotating on its axis but to another, its God’s great power being paraded. Noone is wrong but all the times we need to share base things, unravel the deeper meaning of everything we see.

We are called to display these overlooked meanings and be pointers to what God is doing today, right now. It’s my joy to let someone see the way I see: everything that pertains to God dangles on love!

Communication is Golden

At one point I heard one couple in conversation, “Communication is golden, without it our marriage won’t work!”
I gave the speaker a credit. Communication is golden whenever, wherever a good relationship is to be established.
I began to think in accordance with our Heavenly Father who we have in a relationship ever so good than any other relationship you think of. I realized communication is golden again here too!
one of my best old testament scripts comes from Isiah.

Isiah 30:21
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying “This is the way, walk in it” when you turn to the right or turn to the left

That’s communication!
Our father wants to speak to us every time, every minute every hour. We need to actually re-consider when we last heard Him speaking. The last time you read the bible did you heard His voice or it was just a rustle through the pages. I believe that God has much much to say to each and every one of us than the internet could offer than WhatsApp could offer than the unending rush after news could offer.

God’s unlimited supply.

Within God’s warehouses there is spleandour! There is vastness of everything we imagine we will ever need for physical or spiritual fulfillment. These unlimited supplies are readily available ,at fingertips to everyone who beleives and have faith.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3 NIV

Holding on to the good things we know.

There are moments, adverse ones -when everything around us is telling us to quit on the good path we’ve been adhering to in our course of life.

In such conditions we need to slow down our actions, make our minds right by replenishing everything positive about what we learnt and convince ourselves that we ain’t losing anything.

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
Proverbs 3:1‭-‬2 NIV

Listen to the soft inner voice of the Holy Spirit and thus you will get God’s inspiration.

Following God’s leading.

Everyone who has been assigned with an errand knows the necessity of staying in touch with the command centre where all up-to-date information comes concerning the mission. The same applies to our spiritual lives ;we need to stay in touch with our command centre: the Holy Spirit.

O Lord , I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Jeremiah 10:23 KJV

Every time we try to follow ourselves than what God ascribes to us every day: we are walking in the wrong direction all the way. Our position of surrender must allow us to hear from God his Devine directions which is his will on a daily basis through his Spirit.

Its not enough to read the bible but u need to listen to the Holy Spirit speaking every instance in every needful situation.

Following God’s lead.

Every time we try to follow ourselves than what God ascribes to us every day , we are walking in the wrong way. Our  position of surrender  must  allow us to hear from God his divine directions which is his will will everyday through the revelation by his Spirit

Keeping yourself focused and undistructed.

The world is too fast, its noisy, it mixed up! Every time you wanna calm down, refine your ways: its carrying you too fast. Day in day out you are being tossed to and fro by blows of doubt, fear, inconsistency, unnecessary worldly pleasures. Whats gonna anchor our hearts and mind to the higher purpose?

What defines our course of life is the cycle of thinking that we develop and craft through what we choose to dwell on each day of our lives. If we choose to dwell on the negative things reigning in the world we bring gloomy situations on our own lives. The power of mind.

But if we choose to ponder on the endless possibilities engraved in the grace of God dispensed abundantly on our lives through Jesus we unlock the mysterious power of focusing on what matters most: living life in accordance to the purpose pre-planned  by God.

If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things that are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.Set your affection on things above not on things on earth. Colossians 3:1-2

Effectively intercepting God’s promises

“God’s word is full of promises ;what he is bound to do to everyone who believes in his son Jesus Christ being guided by his will. This makes faith the hand that takes hold of every promise God dispensed by grace to the generation of them that believe in him .”

Its God’s pleasure to make his children be heirs to all the promises he made. These promises are however inheritable only by believing in Jesus and without doubt prove the Scriptures true.

backlit dawn foggy friendship

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yes and in him amen unto the Glory of God by us.

we ought to position ourselves on the place of faith and cast out all fear and doubt and intercept all the glorious promises of our loving Father!
